Who can the operator delegate tasks to?

It is important that operator refers to the constitution, governing rules and/or business policies when required, as they may specify conditions for appointing delegates and the processes that surround this.

Generally, depending on the nature and size of the role, tasks can be delegated to:
• The service operator,
• A sub-committee or operator advisory group, and/or
• Paid staff

Remember, it is important to ensure that the persons the operator is delegating tasks to are equipped with the time, experience and knowledge to undertake the task.
