Can I require a part-time employee to work additional hours or days?

A part time employee is covered by the same provisions for additional hours as a full-time employee and may refuse to work additional hours if they are unreasonable.

This is particularly relevant at this time due to the payment of the JobKeeper subsidy from the Commonwealth Government that may be greater than an employee’s ordinary weekly pay.
