ECTARC is a community owned, not for profit organisation that has successfully managed education and care services in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven for over 34 years. ECTARC is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that specialises and champions excellence in early childhood education and care training and professional development across Australia. ECTARC was recently announced 2022 NSW Large Training Provider of the Year

Kids and Traffic
Funded by Transport for NSW, in partnership with Macquarie University, Kids and Traffic aims to achieve improvements in young children’s safety in the short term and develop safe community attitudes to road use in the long term.
Kids and Traffic provides professional development, road safety information, resources, advice and support to educators,management, staff and families in early childhood services.

Life Ed
Life Ed NSW is the state’s largest independent provider of preventative health education to children and young people. With the help of its iconic mascot, Healthy Harold the giraffe, Life Ed has been empowering children and young to make safer and healthy choices for more than 40 years. Life Ed works in more than 2,200 early learning centres and schools across NSW and the ACT, with approximately 280,000 children participating in their preventative health and wellbeing education program each year.
The Life Ed Early Years Learning Program supports children aged 3-5 to build their mental, physical and social foundations through play-based learning and interactive experiences. Delivered by Life Ed’s specialist Educators in preschools and early learning centres, the program helps give little learners a head start in life at a pivotal time in their development. The program aligns to the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, and supports children to build and develop the skills that promote their physical health, safety and social & emotional wellbeing.
