Centre Director

A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for a centre director within our family run service, located in Central West NSW. The service has a large client base and is well respected within the local community. The sector is heavily regulated and requires someone who pays attention to detail and also has a desire to provide high quality service to all stakeholders

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role requires you to provide the highest standard of leadership and management of staff, the ability to build a strong foundation of mutual respect with our clients, as well as adhering to all regulatory requirements within our sector.

You will be a motivated leader with the ability to manage the following:
* Compliance in a heavily regulated environment
* Ensure ongoing viability and profitability
* Promote a culture of mutual respect and inclusion
* Ensure staff deliver high quality outcomes
* Develop strong relationships with our clients, local community members and organisations
* Promote a culture of continual improvement
* Strive to build a strong and cohesive team that feel supported and respected

Duties
* Ensuring compliance of the service in line with regulatory requirements
* Managing rosters for full time, part time and casual staff members
* Recruiting and training new staff members
* Ensuring fees are always up to date and in line with centre policy
* Implementing budgets and ensuring accurate record keeping to keep track of business costs
* Implement marketing strategies across various forms of social media
* Implement a fair and transparent procedure to manage complaints
* Implement identified improvements
* Regularly updating our quality improvement plan
* Regular staff performance review
* Ensuring ongoing professional development for all team members
* Leading staff meetings
* Managing systems to ensure the effective operations of the service.

Essential Criteria
  • You will need:
  • Appropriate experience and demonstrated management capabilities
  • Current first aid and CPR qualifications
  • Current Child protection qualifications
  • Current working with children check and national police check
Desirable Criteria:
  • Diploma or Bachelor Early Education Qualification
  • Previous experience within an early education service or similar
