BLUE MOUNTAINS:
Fairmont Resort 2022

Our fourth Forum returned to the Fairmont Resort in the Blue Mountains. Once again we faced the challenges of the continuing global pandemic and extreme weather conditions across the east coast of New South Wales.

Despite these, delegates travelled to the Mountains keen for a welcome break and ready to take the opportunity to catch up, be inspired and learn something new.

Key Themes

Building the future together.

This Forum explored the idea of stepping “Beyond the gate…” and the important role that early childhood educators can play in forming relationships with organisations outside their service for the benefit of children, staff and the wider community.

Sessions included:

  • The Challenges of Supporting Integrated Service provision for Families and Children in Regional and Remote ECEC Contexts
  • Disability and Inclusion Programs
  • Child Safe Standards
  • Embedding Literacy and Language in Education Programs

This was my first forum and the one of the best experiences I have had. I have come away with a wealth of knowledge, resources, new connections with services and friendships. I will 100% be back.
