The EYLF & Leadership: a whole service approach

CCSA is conducting three regional training days in 2010, with a focus on the Early Years Learning Framework and its application from a management perspective that includes committees, directors and staff. We will explore how your service can incorporate the EYLF principles into its philosophy and develop a cohesive approach to the implementation of the framework.

Workshops will also include

• further exploration of the EYLF
  
• a Contemporary Research Insight seminar, looking at how current early childhood education research can apply to your practice. This can be attended as a stand-alone module through ACT Professional Support Coordinator for Canberra and Children's Services Central for Maitland and Wollongong.
• Modern Awards and how they apply to your service.This is also available as a stand-alond module. Use the same registration form (see link above).
  
• Risk assessment as part of the roles and responsibilities of the Management Committee.
  

CCSA will be holding its AGM on Friday 18 June in Wollongong after the main events of the day. The AGM will be video linked to other locations to be announced. In addition, CCSA will be offering a Modern Awards workshop prior to the AGM in the remote locations.
