The Mendooran Preschool is a 20 place Community based Preschool that operates part-time two days a week (Tuesdays & Thursdays).  It is a fun, warm, friendly environment for children between the ages of 3 and 5 with recent renovations making our Preschool very welcoming. Mendooran is a small rural town located between Dubbo and Coonabaraban.  We have access to visiting professionals to our Preschool on a regular basis.

The successful applicant will take responsibility for the daily operation of our wonderful preschool and will lead a staff of four dedicated and experienced child care workers.

The successful applicant will have:

• Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Ability to satisfy the criteria for an Authorised Supervisor.
• Current First Aid Certificate
• A friendly, natural manner with both children and parents.
• Financial management experience and computer literacy.
• Demonstrated ability in leading and managing a team of staff (previous experience managing a children’s service centre would be an advantage).
• A sound understanding of the NSW Department of Community Services regulations.
• Ability to work with the management committee and within the centres guiding principles.
